Excrescence by DSil Excrescence by DSil
Another installment in the same series as Viscera [link] . They were part of my Senior thesis, entitled "Corpus Mutatis" (changing body).

While I didn't draw from them directly for this piece, I must acknowledge the influence of Wayne Barlowe, Zdzislaw Beksinski, Max Ernst, H.R. Giger, and DevART's own :iconbernardumaine:.

Spot on! Acrylics, with a liiiiiiittle bit of moistening medium, and lots of painstaking drybrush.

I love the organic textures , what technique did you use? If I would have to guess IŽll say acrylics , but canŽt tell for sure.

Thanks! I assure you, there's nothing hidden there. Well, except the odd bit of anatomy and natural textures. I think there's a rotting aloe leaf in the mix.

...OR IS THERE???
